Our hero product, the Nori Press, brought innovation to the laundry aisle, and now we’re expanding our product ecosystem to deliver more efficient, branded and beautiful solutions for everyday clothing care. As a digitally-native brand now available in 1,800+ Target stores nationwide, Nori is at the forefront of modernizing a category long dominated by legacy players. We are seeking a Director of Operations to help support the backbone of Nori, our omni-channel supply chain.
What You’ll Do: The Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operations & Logistics
- Own end-to-end inventory modeling/planning and forecasting across DTC, Amazon and wholesale channels.
- Map out and make recommendations of a Purchase Order Schedule based on channel demand and seasonality.
- Oversee warehouse operations and 3PL relationships, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Identify and implement strategies to increase gross margin by reducing product, packaging, and shipping costs.
- Partner with Finance to manage inventory investments and working capital requirements.
- Establish clear SOPs and operational workflows to support scalable growth.
- Product Development
- Project manage new product rollouts from ideation to prototyping to final production.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development and Marketing teams to bring concepts to life, on time and on budget.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery.
- Wholesale Oversight
- Onboard new retail partners and ensure compliance with operational requirements and supply chain standards.
- Create and implement scalable supply chain systems for new wholesale accounts.
- Manage inventory, allocations, and replenishment strategies across wholesale partners.
- Serve as operational liaison between Nori and external retailers to support sell-through and growth.
Who You Are:
A resourceful, hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. You’re passionate about consumer brands and have experience managing complex supply chains and scaling operational systems. You love balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves. You have a keen understanding of how backend operations directly impact customer experience, margin, and overall company success.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, and/or supply chain management, preferably in consumer products or hardware.
- Experience managing multiple SKUs, logistics, and vendors (3PL providers)
- Experience scaling brands with both an online and retail presence
- Deep understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and purchase order mapping
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel
- Proven track record of managing product launches from concept to shelf.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally (including to China/Vietnam) as needed.
